Shoeing and Shoemaking Competition 2006

Held at Dancing Anvils Forge
Shoeing Comp 2006

The Kings Lynn Branch of Nafbae held their annual shoeing competition on July 29th and 30th.

Out thanks go to Mr Richard Hurcomb for the use of the facilities at his forge.

Our Judge for the event was Mr Stephen Mallender who did a great job and for the continued support of all our sponsors listed below, to which we are all very grateful.

J. C. Gibbons, Arther Cottam, Marquess of Townshend, Suffolk Horse Shoes, Dancing Anvils Forge, Ron Lusher, Daphne Cranwell, Hodgsons Forge and Swann Forges.

Medals were awarded from the Worshipful Company of Farriers and Commemorative Plaques to celebrate their 650th anniversary, in addition Nafbae medals were also awarded to the prize winners.

Thanks also to our excellent stewards David Fuller, David Murrow and Ron Lusher, and to all the competitors who took part for their support.
